Play

All leagues have a 5:30 p.m. shotgun start. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early and be ready to play at 5:30. Each two-gal team will play another 2-gal team each week.

To keep play moving, the "twice par+one" rule is in effect. Pick up your ball once you've scored double par and mark that number plus one on your scorecard. For example, if par is 4, pick up your ball once you've hit 8 and mark 9 on your scorecard. This does not impact your handicap. You may choose to save your last two strokes for the green to practice your putting.

You should play fast enough to keep up with the group in front of you. We aim to play nine holes in two hours. Click here for an etiquette refresher.

If you are unable to play, please find a substitute to replace  you. If you're running late, please call your partner and the course so no one is held up waiting for you and catch up with your foursome on a later hole. Teams will be awarded points toward an attendance prize at the end of the season.

This year we will be maintaining a ringer chart where you can post your best scores by hole each week. Make sure you turn in your scorecard the first night, and each week thereafter, review your scorecard and post any improved scores by hole on the ringer chart. By the end of the season, you will have an eclectic score of your combined best holes during league!

When league play is cancelled due to cold or wet conditions, we will notify the appropriate courses and send an e-mail to the appropriate players. Contact your course (Willow or Copper Creek) for confirmation. You can make up your rain dates anytime prior to August 27th — contact your course to set up a tee time for you and your partner.
