The Des Moines Chapter of Executive Women's Golf Association gives you the opportunity to combine two passions — work and golf — in a non-intimidating, inclusive environment.

EWGA Des Moines is one of more than 100 chapters of EWGA, a national organization founded in 1991 and designed to connect women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun. You do not have to be an "executive" or a member of a golf club or course to join, and new golfers are encouraged to participate. EWGA has more than 17,000 members nationwide and in Canada — so pack your clubs when you travel!

The Des Moines Chapter of EWGA was formed in 1995. As a Des Moines Chapter member, you can enjoy the benefits of golfing and networking with other businesswomen in the Des Moines area, as well as be a part of an organization that is the recognized leader in promoting women's golf.

The Des Moines Chapter hosts a variety of activities throughout the year. The Chapter often conducts new golfer and intermediate clinics and organizes weekly league play during the golf season (May-September).

For 2010, league play is being offered on Monday nights at Willow Creek Golf Course and Tuesday nights at Copper Creek Golf Course. For more information, contact Robin Toney at 515-480-0934.
